The Garden of Oz recreates the brilliantly illuminated poppies that graced the side of the yellow brick
road in L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Inspired by her favorite children's literature and our modern mythologies, Dipaolo's artwork is a collection
of storybook worlds come to life in our own. Her sculptures are hand-built from a myriad of found materials
(yarn, fabric, plastic bags, etc.) based on the notion that the enchanted is simply a rearranging of the ordinary.
